General Statement
Having been professionally involved in the construction industry for over 40 years with most of that time spent resolving problems associated with construction I have encountered many and various issues that have resulted in significant loss to building and homeowners. Most of these issues relate to inadequate and improper construction, misapplication of materials, and/or defects in materials. Our services are designed and intended to help people find solutions and/or resolve building problems whether those problems are of a technical nature or contractual problems.
Building practices, type, and method of construction, quality of materials, skill levels and quality of workmanship all vary widely in the marketplace. A general lack of concern, reduction in skill levels, and lack of knowledge in all these areas have crept in over the last many years often resulting in significant, serious, and costly building problems. Most home and building owners depend solely on their contractors to provide the knowledge, skill, and care necessary to provide proper and adequate building construction. The problem is that many contractors do not have their client’s interest at heart; the result is loss and damage that is costly and sometimes dangerous for home or building owners.

Expert Witness Services
Our services have been utilized to provide expert testimony on a number of occasions regarding various construction issues. The initial phone consultation with your attorney or yourself to determine whether or not we can be of service is without charge.
Construction Contract Consultation Services
Contracts vary in scope, intent, and verbiage, all of which are legal issues and should be evaluated by a competent attorney. However, we do provide consultation regarding practical aspects of these documents such as understanding the scope of the contract, timeliness of payments, building standards referenced, and similar aspects that may or may not protect you from loss, misunderstanding, or excess cost. Often there is a significant lack of understanding between owners and contractors as to what is to be provided by each party. Both parties need to have the same understanding and compatible expectations.
Contractor Conflict Resolution Consultation Services
It is far too common that a building or homeowner becomes embroiled with a contractor having been misled, misinformed, or in some way or another taken advantage of. Sometimes simply by expecting something other than what they got. We may be able to help you resolve these type of issues before you have to hire and pay for an attorney, and if not then we can help facilitate resolution working with you and your attorney.
Improper or Inadequate Construction Resolution Services
It is common that problems are discovered after your construction project has been completed. We provide services to evaluate the problem and determine it’s source or cause. We then recommend correction and/or resolution by consulting with you regarding how to proceed. Often an issue is simple and easily resolved, sometimes it is not. Many issues, if not properly addressed will result in further and more costly damage. Don’t neglect to properly define and correct defective or problematic issues.
